“Wissenschafts- und Kulturwoche Aserbaidschans in Deutschland”. Inaugural one-week-long lecture series with  international speakers on the occasion of the establishment of a chair on the history of Azerbaijan within the department of history of the Humboldt University in Berlin. 7

“Computer Technologies for the Historical Research of Intellectual Networks”. A workshop on Digital Humanities organized by the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem (in cooperation with the National Library of Israel).

[5] English-speaking United Nations-Simulations. Conducted by the University of Münster. My task was to represent Burundi on refugee issues. (www.muimun.org)

[6] An English speaking program on Holocaust (Memory) Studies intended for Jewish education facilitators in the widest sense. Lead by Dr. Elana Yael Heideman and supported by the Jewish Agency. Topics included the history of Anti-Semitism, Nazi politics, Ghetto life, Jewish Identity after the Holocaust, the Holocaust in the movies, legal persecution in Israel (e.g. of Jewish collaborators) … and many more. Trips were made to sites of Holocaust research or commemoration. Testifying survivors were met up with. The program consisted of eight three-day workshops in Israel.
